With many of CalGreen and TransportiCA's staff being Dr. Kott's former San Jose State and Presidio Graduate School students and colleagues, this July - his birthday month (15th), we honor his legacy.

 

Dr. Kott was a monumentally generous man, whose passion for sustainable transportation and inclusive economic development was significant and infectious, and we are incredibly proud, and very grateful, for his mentoring TransportiCA and CalGreen staff.

 

While Dr. Kott is significantly missed, his passion for transforming equitable mobility and transport is one of his many great legacies, and CalGreen/TransportiCA will do our best to advance this important work.

 

The California Green Academy and TransportiCA celebrates Dr. Kott this July, with the election of his Curtin University doctoral dissertation as the July 2019 Book Club selection, as well as, honoring him at July's Transformational Speaker Series event, "Dr. Joseph Kott's Legacy: Turning Today's Vision into Tomorrow's Actions," having occured Tuesday, 30 July.  For further Series information, please click here.
