With the issuance of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's 29 January 2021 Order (effective 02 February), the wearing of face masks is now mandated, while on conveyances, and at transport hubs.  The deatiled mandate not only includes using transit services, but also when waiting in line, for such services.
