Firehock (UVA) as the August Transformation Speaker Series (“Series”) presenter. Focusing on sustainable transportation, the Series features some of the greatest minds in resilient infrastructure, urban mobility, and innovative transportation, and is a partnership with TransportiCA and Island Press.
Presenting from her critically-acclaimed publication Strategic Green Infrastructure Planning (TransportiCA’s August Book Club selection), Prof. Firehock discusses the increasing importance for transportation planning and engineering being based upon green infrastructure principles, with natural resources considered our greatest assets.
