The Transport and the Triple-Bottom Line Summit is a biennial event, providing an overview of sustainability with Elkington and Savitz’ Triple-Bottom Line (“TBL”), and its relation to transport systems.  Transport+TBL begins with a history and definition for sustainability and TBL, then focuses on transport through equitable, environmental and financial capacities.  Attendees are also provided with current examples of sustainable transport and public-private partnerships statewide.  Besides CalGreen, financial support for the event comes from San Jose State University’s Mineta Transportation Institute and the Urban & Regional Planning Department, with SPUR and TransForm having provided institutional support.
