TransportiCA celebrates its Fifth Anniversary!

After five years of “Mobility meeting the Triple Bottom Line,” a new website and more features take shape, 01 July.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.–Because of its mission to advance systems thinking and the Triple Bottom Line, the California Green Academy (“CalGreen”) is proud to celebrate TransportiCA’s fifth anniversary, honoring five years of hard work, including the launch of an internationally popular Book Club, a transportation conference integrating systems thinking, hosting numerous webinars, and much more! As well, premiering 01 July, TransportiCA will launch a new, more comprehensive website, continuing with sustainable transport news and events, showcasing far more features and educational resources, career and internships listings, as well as, greater incorporation of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and systems thinking, and the premier of CalGreen’s “Countdown-to-2030” podcast, on 26 June. “When TransportiCA first launched on 15 May 2015, as part of a project for Presidio Graduate School, I was not thinking that, five years later, we would have a worldwide following, especially for our Book Club, and even be considered a reliable source for defining the critical question, ‘what is sustainable transportation?’ TransportiCA’s next five years have far more potential, and we are working tirelessly to make sure the program stays true to our mission, vision, and prospects, offering zero compromise,” stated Greg Justice, Founder/Editor of TransportiCA, and CalGreen’s Chief Sustainability Officer (ED). TransportiCA’s new and advanced website launches on 01 July, with CalGreen’s Countdown-to-2030 podcast starting Friday, 26 June, corresponding with the United Nations’ 75th anniversary celebration.
