SACRAMENTO, Calif. – With its mission to advance systems thinking and the Triple Bottom Line, the California Green Academy (“CalGreen”), along with its Sustainable Development Goals campaign, sends their biggest congratulations to the Young Professionals for Sustainable Development Goals’ Seminar Series (“Series”), spring 2019 cohort (pictured above, with mentors and series staff), having completed the semi-annual program, Saturday, 11 May, in San Francisco. The Series is a professional development opportunity for early-career professionals, seeking new prospects in networking and career coordination with the United Nations’ “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” or pursuing an entire transition, while concentrating on some, or all, of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. “CalGreen wishes every Series graduate the absolute best, and values every opportunity–especially the Series–for its professional and organizational development and networking, particularly when such efforts integrate the Sustainable Development Goals and the Universal Declaration of Humans Rights. We further appreciate the hard work and dedication of Series Director Fedor Ovchinnikov, MA, UNA-SF President Mary Steiner, and USF-MNA Director Dr. Marco Tavanti, with their mission to sustain such meaningful networking,” remarked Greg Justice, CalGreen’s Chief Sustainability Officer (CEO/ED). The Series is a venture between the United Nations Association–San Francisco Chapter and the University of San Francisco’s Master of Nonprofit Administration program, occurring in spring and fall cohorts. Additional Series information can be found online, or via email, and the fall cohort begins in September. Spring 2019’s cohort members, mentors, and Series staff, are identified below.
