CalGreen Congratulates the University of San Francisco's Master of Nonprofit Administration, Cla

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – With its mission to advance systems thinking and the Triple Bottom Line, both the California Green Academy (“CalGreen”), and its developing “Nonprofit Studies” program are incredibly proud of this year’s graduating class. In particular, CalGreen sends our biggest congratulations to all of the University of San Francisco’s (“USF”) Master of Nonprofit Administration (“MNA Program”) Class of 2019, graduates and faculty (partially pictured above). Founded in 1983 by Dr. Michael O’Neill, Professor Emeritus, USF’s nonprofit graduate management program, “ensures you acquire the tools you need to strengthen your leadership abilities, identify ethical considerations and effect positive change.” Housed within the School of Management, USF’s MNA Program is the nation’s first, and oldest, nonprofit management education (“NME”) studies, and is under the leadership of Dr. Marco Tavanti, full-time professor, noted international development scholar and author, and United Nations’ consultant. Additionally, next month, the MNA Program will celebrate being the first nationally accredited program by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council–the nation’s premier academic / professional organization. “Everyone at CalGreen is incredibly proud of the MNA graduating class, and we are confident the sector will be a much better place, because of each graduate’s knowledge, passion, and unwavering dedication to equity and inclusion,” stated Greg Justice, CalGreen’s Chief Sustainability Officer (CEO/ED). The MNA program’s graduation took place yesterday–Friday, 17 May, beginning at noon, and was held at San Francisco’s historic St. Ignatius church. A complete recording of the ceremony is available online, with the MNA procession commencing at 01:28:24–beginning with MNA graduate, Alexa Lee Davidson.
