CalGreen Welcomes its First Official Member - Simone Joyaux
The international fundraising and philanthropy expert joins CalGreen during major expansion, amidst the Sustainable Chamber of Sacramento and Nonprofit Studies program commencing.
SACRAMENTO, Calif.–With its mission to advance systems thinking and the Triple Bottom Line, the California Green Academy (“CalGreen”), is proud to announce its first official member, international leadership, fundraising, and philanthropy author, authority, and professor, Simone Joyaux.
“CalGreen could not have asked for a better first member for this organization. Ms. Joyaux is a highly decorated, international expert in all things nonprofit, having LITERALLY wrote the books on so many important sector issues in fundraising and philanthropy. As a recently incorporated nonprofit, Ms. Joyaux being CalGreen’s first member is akin to Steve Wozniak or Bill Gates being the first investor in a tech startup,” remarked Greg Justice, Chief Sustainability Officer (CEO/ED).
CalGreen has an array of organizational memberships, including “basic,” “student,” and “sliding-scale,” as well as, many high-donor levels, with all memberships having access to CalGreen publications and other benefits. Further membership information is available online at calgreenacademy.org/memberships, or email CalGreen at membership@calgreenacademy.org. All donations and memberships to CalGreen are tax deductible (82-0784342, CA-FTB C4005641, RCT CT0256202).
