TransportiCA Covering the 2018 National High-Speed Rail Leadership Summit (11-13 SEP)
The three-day conference convenes the nation’s greatest high-speed rail leaders, all focused on the advocacy and development of a 21st century transportation system.
SACRAMENTO, Calif.–With its mission to advance systems thinking and the Triple-Bottom Line, the California Green Academy (“CalGreen”) is proud to report from the annual National High-Speed Rail Leadership Summit, (“Summit”), occurring next month in San Jose. The Summit is organized by the U.S. High-Speed Rail Association (“USHSRA”), bringing together hundreds of the nation’s foremost transport leaders, industry experts, elected officials, and other mobility advocates, all focused on advancing a 21st century national rail system. Though organized by USHSRA, Summit sponsorship includes the Mineta Transportation Institute–a leader in HSR research, the California High-Speed Rail Authority, and Siemans.
“We are on cloud nine, being able to report from such a distinguished and pinnacle event. TransportiCA’s coverage of the Summit will focus on best practices for California, and the immense positive impacts such a mobility system can have on less-developed and infrastructure-lean communities,” stated Greg Justice, CalGreen’s Chief Sustainability Officer (CEO/ED).
The Summit takes place 11-13 September at the Santa Clara County administrative offices. TransportiCA’s tweets can be viewed @TransCAEvents–including the hashtag #NHSRLS18, and all videos of TransportiCA’s Summit reports will be posted to its YouTube channel.
