The Simone P. Joyaux Award for Nonprofit Innovation is Nonprofit Studies' premier award, provided annually to an individual or organization, for the implementation of best practices and innovations, and the promotion of collaboration between sectors–while also preserving the uniqueness and autonomy of the nonprofit sector.

No matter the individual or organization size, financial commitment, or population affected, a promising innovation in the third sector can serve as a catalyst for an even more transformational and sustainable sector.
