Beyond 101 is Nonprofit Studies' quarterly journal, dedicated solely to nonprofit management education (NME) research, best practices, and perspectives, from third-sector scholars.  While the number "101" traditionally refers to a collegiate survey course, the journal's use of 101 refers to the location of the University of San Francisco's Master of Nonprofit Administration program - the nation's first NME graduate program (1983), located at 101 Howard Street.
