CalGreen Thanks Miguel E. Del Mundo, J.D., for his Committed Service as Founding Board Chair

Under Del Mundo’s chairmanship, CalGreen has expanded significantly, welcoming its first members and donors.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.–With its mission to advance systems thinking and the Triple Bottom Line, the California Green Academy (“CalGreen”) is incredibly grateful for the enduring leadership of founding Chair Miguel E. Del Mundo (“Del Mundo,” pictured above), and wishes him all the very best, as his legal career commences.

Because of his decorated service in nonprofit management and leadership, Del Mundo was asked to serve as Chair, in March 2017, as CalGreen began incorporation. Further, Del Mundo’s education in corporate law and policy proved an incredible asset.

“CalGreen would not be on the same path to excellence, as we are now, without the major and continuous contributions of Chair Del Mundo. I am very thankful too, not only call him a friend of 14 years, but to have built this amazing organization together,” stated Greg Justice, CalGreen’s Chief Sustainability Officer (CEO/ED).

Having recently graduated with his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University’s School of Law, and passing the California Bar Examination in November, Del Mundo looks forward to a legal profession in public service, specializing in corporate and regulatory policy.

The California Green Academy is a domestic, 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 82-0784342), recognized by the IRS, and California’s Franchise Tax Board and Registry of Charitable Trusts. With (c)(3) status, donations to CalGreen are tax-deductible - to the fullest extent possible, and can be made online.
