As of 19 June, in accordance with Governor Gavin Newsom's 18 June State Health Order, face coverings are now required for service, on all transit systems, statewide, and while waiting in line for transit service.

Effective 11 May, Capitol Corridor, Pacific Surfliner, San Joaquins, and all other Amtrak services (trains AND shuttles) require face coverings for service.

Capitol Corridor has suspended Emeryville to San Francisco (Route 99) and San Jose to Santa Barbara (Route 21) shuttle services.  For San Francisco connecting service from the East Bay, please transfer to BART at the Richmond or Coliseum stations. For service south of San Jose, please utilize the Coast Starlight, or other private shuttles.

Countywide health orders (mandates) requiring face coverings are issued pursuant to the California Health and Safety Code, Sections 101040, 101085, 120175, and 120275, et seq.  Violations of, or failure to comply with issued County Health Orders, are a misdemeanor, punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both, and pursuant to the California Government Code Section 8665, and Penal Code Sections 069 and 148(a)(1).  Simply put, all transit systems within the twenty-two counties listed above are subject to the face-covering requirement.

CalGreen strives to provide you with the latest, most accurate, and complete information available, and we greatly appreciate your assistance in sharing any updates with us: info[at]californiatransitmask.info
