Anthony Palmere is recently retired as General Manager at Unitrans, the transit system serving the city of Davis and the University of California, Davis. He has over 35 years of experience in the transit industry. Prior to joining Unitrans in 2000, he served as Planning Manager at Sacramento Regional Transit, and previously as Director of Planning at the MBTA in Boston. Anthony has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from MIT, and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. He is a long-time proponent and user of alternative transportation, and has taught classes in Public Transportation at UC Davis.
